The report in January - November 2008, visitor arrivals to Cambodia was 1.89 million; an 7.4% increase compared to the same period of 2007; Siem Reap Angkor arrivals had increased with 962,983 visitors, with a share of 50.9%; while Phnom Penh and other destinations had brought in a total of 928,987 visitors with 49.1% share.

Preah Vihear Temple (Prasat Preah Vihear) is a Hindu temple situated atop 525-meter cliff in the Dangrek Mountains in the Preah Vihear Province. In 1962 the International Court of Justice in the Hague ruled that it belonged to Cambodia. The temple gives its name to local province Preah Vihear, in which is located.
